Sent two employees to Home Depot today with purchased merchandise return cards. They received slightly different stories, but apparently Home Depot wants to verify that the card is being used by the original owner of the card. Is there a workaround for businesses that depend on discounted cards to make ends meet but like Home Depot? Seems like a good way to chase away regular customers.
