Costco Same-Day is powered by Instacart and it used to be possible to pay with an Instacart gift card. This was useful when stacking other deals that were available exclusively via Costco Same-Day. Unfortunately, they removed the gift card payment option a few days ago. Hat tip to reader raymond and to r/instacart
